Revolve Hair

Revolve Hair is a salon at 34 Hill Street in Southampton, opened in 2010 by owner and master stylist Alicia M. Cook, a Hamptons native. It has a second salon in the West Village and publishes a full wedding price list.

How they work

Wedding hair is done in the salon, with accessory and veil placement included. The menu lists two in salon bridal hair options, from $200 (90 minutes) and from $425 (2 hours), and hair trials at $200 with a stylist or $425 with Alicia. Bridal makeup is from $300 for a full face with an optional airbrush finish and false lashes, or from $195 for a lighter fresh face, and makeup trials are priced the same. Bridal party hair is $125 with a stylist or $200 with Alicia, and party makeup runs from $50 for lashes to $275 for a full application. On site and private sessions are priced on consultation. The salon also offers color, keratin and scalp treatments for the months before the wedding.

Who it suits

Couples marrying in or near Southampton who are happy to get ready at the salon and want to know costs before they call. It suits someone who already sees Alicia for cut and color. It is less suited to a large party getting ready at a house or venue elsewhere on the East End, since on site work is quoted separately, and the site shows no wedding portfolio.
