Bedell Cellars
A North Fork vineyard with a mahogany pavilion for 200 and ceremony spots in the orchard, the lavender and the vines.
Bedell Cellars is a working vineyard in Cutchogue, on the North Fork, and it seats up to 200 for a wedding. Its reported site fee is lower than most South Fork venues on this guide.
The setting
Receptions are held in a barn-style mahogany pavilion that looks out over farmland and vines. Here Comes The Guide lists three ceremony spots: the apple orchard, the lavender field and the vineyard lawn. The tasting room is a former potato barn with an interior by Vicente Wolf, opening onto a south-facing deck.
Who it suits
Couples who want a vineyard setting and are happy to be on the North Fork rather than the South Fork villages. It suits weddings of up to 200 in the warmer months. It is not an option for winter weddings.
Good to know
- Catering comes from the vineyard’s preferred list. Wine is in house.
- Amplified music is allowed indoors and outdoors, with some restrictions (Here Comes The Guide).
- Weddings run daily from May to early October (Here Comes The Guide). Ask about the rain plan and end time.
