Canoe Place Inn & Cottages

Canoe Place can run a whole wedding under one roof in any month of the year. Ceremony, cocktails, dinner and a late-night lounge all happen on the property, with catering and bar in house.

The setting

Outdoor ceremonies take place on the Great Lawn for up to 250 guests. In colder months the ceremony moves into the ballroom, which seats up to 200. Cocktail hour spreads across the Pavilion and the outdoor Rotunda garden for up to 300, and dinner is in the ballroom for up to 250 at rounds, long tables or a mix. Afterwards, the garden has a firepit and the Study can become a cocktail lounge with a DJ. There is a bridal suite and a groom lounge for getting ready.

Who it suits

Couples planning 150 to 250 guests who want one team running the day and an easy rain plan. It is also a strong option for an off-season wedding, with lower minimums from November to April. It is not for couples who want to bring in their own caterer.
