Bridal Reflections
A family-run Long Island and Fifth Avenue salon with a long designer list, its own alterations studio and gowns for mothers.
Bridal Reflections is a family-owned salon in Carle Place, Long Island, with a second salon on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, both outside the East End, and we list it as worth the trip. The business began in Massapequa in 1973.
How they work
Appointments are requested online or by phone at either bridal salon. The Fifth Avenue salon is at 437 Fifth Avenue, phone (212) 764-3040. A 3 hour VIP appointment for up to 10 guests costs $500 on Long Island and $750 in Manhattan, and is optional. Designers listed include Galia Lahav, Pronovias, Lazaro, Enzoani, Maggie Sottero, Calla Blanche, Milla Nova and Sophia Tolli. The salons also sell veils, headpieces and jewelry, and a large range of gowns for mothers of the couple. Alterations are done at the company’s own studio in East Meadow, and gown preservation is offered. The FAQ puts bridal gowns at about $2,000 to $12,000 on Long Island and $4,000 to over $20,000 on Fifth Avenue.
Who it suits
Couples from Long Island or the city, or those willing to drive, who want many designers to compare and want mothers’ dresses handled in the same place. It is not for couples who want to shop on the East End, and the site does not mention Hamptons weddings.
Good to know
