Creative Courses Catering
A Southold caterer with a published wedding package at $165 per person, open bar and staff included.
Creative Courses Catering is a Southold caterer run by owner Samy Sabil, formerly of the North Fork Table and Inn. The site says the business has operated on the North Fork for 15 years, and has also catered events in Manhattan, Miami and Los Angeles.
How they work
The site lists the wedding package from $165 per person, plus sales tax and a 20% admin fee. It covers a cocktail hour with 8 passed hors d’oeuvres and a station such as a Tuscan table, a grazing table or a summer tomato bar. Dinner is one salad, a choice of 3 entrees and mini desserts. Two specialty cocktails and an open premium bar are included, along with setup and breakdown, plates, silverware, glassware, full service staff and cake cutting. The food leans local: fluke ceviche, Peconic Bay scallops, heirloom tomatoes and braised short ribs all appear on the menus. A raw bar, halibut, lobster and a few other dishes carry a supplement.
Who it suits
Couples marrying on the North Fork who want to know the catering and bar cost early, and who like seasonal, local cooking. It is less suited to couples who want an East End caterer with a long list of South Fork venues, as the site names no specific venues.
Good to know

- Ryan Flatley of Southold, a former sous chef at North Fork Table and Inn, is named alongside Samy Sabil on the home page.
