Montauk Bake Shoppe is a bakery on The Plaza in Montauk, open seven days a week. Its home page calls it Eastern Long Island’s wedding cake specialists and credits its cakes to Cakes by Linda.

How they work

Wedding cakes are made to order. Couples book an appointment by phone or fill in the online wedding cake form, which asks for the date, the reception venue, the guest count, a budget priority and a preferred tasting date. Two tasting packages are listed: a Cake Tasting at $30 and an Elegance Tasting at $50, for the couple alone or with one or two guests.
