Insatiable Eats

Insatiable Eats is an off-premise caterer led by chef and owner Marco Barrila, who was born in Sicily and began cooking for events on the East End in 2005. The contact page lists a Southampton address, and the company also runs Barrila’s Pastaria, a restaurant with private rooms in Riverhead.

How they work

Service styles run from plated and family-style dinners to buffets, food stations and cocktail receptions. The 2024 wedding menu prices cocktail packages from $60 per person and sit-down packages from $65 to $95 per person, with bar packages from $38 per person for three hours. Beverages can also be charged on consumption. A wedding coordinator runs the tasting and menu choices, and the chef will cook a custom dish on request. Beyond food, the wedding page lists rentals, tenting, lighting, venue sourcing, florals, music and on-site production. The site says the team can serve up to 500 guests. Wedding testimonials on the site name a marquee at a family home in Water Mill and a vineyard wedding at Sparkling Pointe on the North Fork.

Who it suits

Couples who want real numbers early in planning, and who like Italian cooking alongside American menus. It suits marquee weddings at home and vineyard receptions. It is less suited to couples who want an all-in figure from the menu alone, since staffing and equipment are priced on top.
