The Pridwin looks over Peconic Bay on Shelter Island. Its spaces run from a lawn for 200 down to rooms for 40, so it works for a full wedding or a small one.
The setting
The Lawn seats up to 200 for a ceremony and comes with a custom menu and on-site coordination. The Terrace takes up to 75 with bay views, and the Terrace Restaurant holds up to 125, with 120 for a seated dinner and 150 standing. For smaller weddings there are the Frost Room (up to 48), the Morgan Room (up to 40), the Grove, a wooded outdoor space for 75, and the Pool for 75. Guests stay in hotel rooms or one of the private cottages.
Who it suits
Couples who like the idea of guests arriving by ferry to an island, and of a quieter, bay-side weekend. It suits weddings of 200 and under. Very large guest lists will need to look elsewhere.
