Toast Entertainment Long Island

Toast Entertainment Long Island is the Long Island branch of Toast Entertainment, a company founded in 2010 by Walter McClellan that also operates in Texas, New Orleans and Washington DC. The Long Island franchise is owned by Kristine Ferrara, who also leads its coordination.

How they work

The main service is a DJ who also acts as MC. The Essential package covers 4 hours with sound for up to 300 guests and dance floor lighting. Platinum runs from 30 minutes before the ceremony to midnight and adds 10 LED uplights. Ceremony sound is included at no extra charge, and a backup DJ and second set of equipment come to every event. Couples can add photography from $1,995, video from $1,995, a photo booth from $895 and day of coordination from $2,395, and bundling takes $100 to $400 off. On the East End, its pages show work at The Vineyards at Aquebogue, coordination at Jedediah Hawkins Inn in Jamesport, and a client review describing a Montauk wedding where the team ran the DJ, photography, video and photo booth.

Who it suits

Couples who want clear starting prices and would rather sign one contract for several services. It suits North Fork and Montauk weddings where the couple is happy with a company team. Couples who want a live band as the main act, or a small independent DJ they deal with directly, may prefer another choice.
